This is not your ordinary garden center. We are off the beaten path, have odd hours, and are old fashioned about how we do business. But we love to create and we love our gardens. Every year in spring our doors open to the public.

Our business philosophy is “be passionate, have fun and don’t harm others.” Following that guideline, we grow our own hanging baskets and geraniums using environmentally responsible methods and we purchase healthy, hardy plants from other growers we respect. We designed and built our buildings around recycled glass windows and doors and our garden gift shop sits under a living roof.

When not in the flower gardens we spend our time in the studio creating garden objects and art out of recycled or found materials.

Plan a visit this spring, take time to roam the gardens, shop our greenhouse and garden gift shop, or relax on a bench and soak in the quiet beauty of the Palouse. Whether you garden with a shovel or without, you will find beauty and inspiration at Living in the Garden... where Horticulture meets Art.
